New Feature Release: Advanced Multifamily Marketing

Property managers with larger apartment buildings know that marketing individual units can get messy quickly. From repeating the same photos and descriptions across units, struggling to highlight amenities like gyms or pools, and relying on manual workarounds to promote specials or open houses, it’s a time-consuming process.

That’s why our Advanced Multifamily Marketing feature now gives you the tools to control how your buildings appear on listing sites like Zillow and apartments.com.

Plus, you can now also schedule accompanied showings more efficiently by clustering appointments within the same multifamily building. This minimizes your agent’s drive time between showings.

Create custom buildings and floorplans, add media and building-level features, and set office hours, list open houses and promote special offers.

Full Control at the Properties Level

Instead of managing units one by one, you can now:

  • Create Multifamily Properties and Floorplans directly from the Properties page

  • Add custom photos of the property like lobby and amenity photos

  • Highlight property-level features (gym, rooftop deck, co-working space, etc.)

  • Set office hours, list open houses, and promote special offers

💡

As you activate new units, simply connect them to an existing building and floorplan. This keeps your listings organized and ensures consistency across platforms.

How to get started

  1. Go to your Properties page in RentEngine

  2. Use the toggle at the top to switch between Units, Multifamily Properties, and Floorplans

  3. Add your property details and connect them to your active units

Edit your multifamily properties on the Properties page.

To add a floorplan, switch to the "Floorplans" tab at the top of the page. Connect your Floorplan to a Multifamily Property and fill out the fields.

You can include:

  • Floorplan name

  • Number of bedrooms and bathrooms

  • Total units that share this floorplan

  • Minimun and maximum square footage

  • Market rent

  • Floorplan-specific amenities (e.g., balcony, washer/dryer)

  • Any special offers for that layout

Floorplans make it easier to group similar units and present them consistently across listing sites.
