Product Updates: Week 4
This week is all about Reporting. We just gave it a major overhaul, including redesigned owner reports, new multifamily features, and a Reporting API
Plus, we've partnered with Zumper & Realtor.com on new fee transparency compliance, and improved the Buildium sync.
Here's what's new in RentEngine this week 👇
Reporting
Leasing & Owner Reports
The Leasing Pipeline tab is now "Leasing Reports", with an updated layout that presents leasing performance data in an easier-to-digest layout. Key metrics like leads, upcoming showings, and DOM are prominent.
We've also simplified the date range filter, making it easy to see historic performance.
And at the top right, you can search by properties, including multifamily buildings.
The redesigned format improves how you and property owners consume performance information, making it faster to identify trends and assess property performance without digging through dense tables.
Multifamily Building Performance
For multifamily properties, owner reports now show performance at both the building and unit level in a single consolidated report. See high-level building metrics alongside individual unit performance, eliminating the need to compile data from multiple separate reports.
This is particularly useful for properties with multiple units where owners want to understand both overall building performance and which specific units are driving results.
Detailed Showing Feedback
Owner reports now include more comprehensive showing feedback data including:
What they liked
What they disliked
What would prompt them to apply
What maintenance issues caught their attention
This helps identify property-specific issues or competitive advantages and disadvantages that affect leasing velocity.
Instead of just knowing a showing happened, you now understand what prospects actually thought—giving you actionable insights for improvements or talking points.
Pricing History
Reports now display price history over time, showing owners when and how pricing adjustments were made during the reporting period. This creates a clear record of pricing decisions and their timing relative to leasing activity.
Our data shows pricing mistakes are one of the biggest drivers of extended days on market. Properties priced 5-10% above market can sit vacant for weeks longer than correctly priced units. The price history section makes it easy to spot when pricing adjustments happened and whether they correlated with changes in lead volume or leasing velocity.
Email Logs & Recipients
The email log shows you when reports were sent, which recipients received them, and lets you access past reports directly.
Plus, you can add new recipients, remove outdated contacts, or adjust the distribution list as ownership or management contacts change. All without needing to reach out to support.
Where to find it: Leasing Report > click on the black drop-down next to "Generate Report"
ICYMI: You can also set up automated delivery schedules that match your communication cadence with property owners, and personalize the email message to align with your brand voice.
Where to find it: Settings > Company > Owner Report Timing
New Reporting API
If you use custom dashboards, business intelligence tools, or need to integrate RentEngine data with other systems, the new Reporting API lets you pull comprehensive property and leasing metrics directly.
Pull data on your schedule, build custom visualizations, or feed RentEngine metrics into company-wide dashboards.
Available data includes:
Days on market for each property
Number of leads
Showing feedback and completion rates
Lead-to-lease conversion rates
Application data
And more

Zumper & Realtor.com Fee Transparency
Your entire syndication footprint now meets the new transparency requirements.
Following our recent fee transparency updates for Zillow and Apartments.com, we've now extended compliance support to Zumper and Realtor.com.
Your listings on these platforms now automatically display total monthly costs including mandatory fees for properties in Colorado, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
No manual updates or additional configuration is needed on your end.

Property Editing & Sync Improvements
Property Editing Flow
The property editing flow now displays the full address, property name, and unit number in the page title. This makes it immediately clear which property you're editing.
Buildium Sync Improvements
Our Buildium integration now syncs ‘year built’ and amenity data for all properties. This happens both when you first connect Buildium to RentEngine and automatically going forward, so your listings stay current without manual updates.
