Onboarding with RentEngine: Full-service and fast
So you've done your research on RentEngine and you're ready to move forward.
What happens next?
Our dedicated onboarding team is ready to make your transition super smooth. Let's walk through what you can expect.
Timing
We schedule all onboarding kick-off calls on Thursday. That let's our team handle all the account setup and data migration work over the weekend, so your team can hit the ground running on Monday morning!
During that Thursday call, we'll introduce your whole team to RentEngine, cover key features and walk through the transition plan.
You can expect to be fully up and running within 4 days.
Data migration
One of the big reasons you chose RentEngine was probably to streamline all your leasing data into one platform. During onboarding, our team will carefully migrate all of the following for you:
active listings
lockboxes
scheduled showings
user accounts
When your team comes into work on Monday morning, everything will be ready to go. Showings, even if scheduled on your old platform, will show up in RentEngine, lockboxes will be assigned and generating codes, and all your teammates will have an account. New leads will now funnel directly into RentEngine.
We're very precise about the timing of the migration, to avoid any "downtime" where the listings don't show up online (e.g. Zillow). There's nothings worse than an owner asking you where their rental listing has gone.
Live, guided training
During the Thursday kick-off call, we'll do a deep training on RentEngine for your full team. We plan for 60 minutes, but always schedule 90 minute to give your team plenty of opportunity to ask questions and dive deep.
This training covers all the key functional areas of RentEngine:
Command Center (adding prospects, CRM, reminders)
Calling/Texting
Scheduling and Completing showings
Showings Calendar
Leasing Intelligence
Owner Reporting
Lockboxes
Notifications
Then on Monday morning, we'll have a final transition meeting with your team. Using your newly-migrated data, we'll revisit the most common workflows so that your team can hit the ground running immediately.
We'll also make sure everyone has successfully downloaded the phone app and finally we'll cover our support resources (RentEngine University and live chat with our technical team).
Regular check-ins
The best software in the world won't matter if you and your team aren't seeing the results.
That's why we like to schedule a Week 1 and Month 1 check-in with your team. During these sessions, we'll review the performance and usage, suggest best practices for your specific situation and get product feedback from the power users on the your team.
But it doesn't end there! You can always reach us with questions, suggestions, and product feedback. Our entire team is dedicated to your success and is available 7 days a week to immediately help.
