RentEngine partners with Zillow Instant Tour

Today, we’re excited to announce a new partnership with Zillow Instant Tour, a giant step in showing coordination.

Now renters can just pick their time in Zillow and the tour will be instantly scheduled in RentEngine. This removes a major friction point in the leasing process, and will significantly increase conversion rates during the winter leasing season.

We are excited to be an early pilot partner and give RentEngine customers access to Zillow Instant Tour today.

The Difference: Book Tour Now vs. Request a Tour

The change is immediately visible on Zillow listings. Traditional listings show "Request a Tour" with a form that leads to back-and-forth coordination over text and phone calls. With Zillow Instant Tour enabled, renters see "Book Tour Now" with a lightning bolt icon.

When they click it, they're presented with your available showing time slots pulled directly from RentEngine in real-time, instead of the normal contact form.

How It Works

The renter selects their preferred time, enters their details, and the tour is scheduled in RentEngine instantly, eliminating the need for phone calls or communicating the logistics via text.

The renter receives a confirmation once the showing is scheduled and their information is captured in the Command Center.

Pre-Screening Options

For companies using pre-screening, the workflow is seamless. After selecting a time, prospects receive a message confirming their showing time and directing them to complete any required income, credit, and customer questions. The showing time is held while they complete pre-screening.

Companies that prefer to skip pre-screening for accompanied showings can configure their prescreening settings to schedule showings immediately with no additional steps.

Instant Tour will automatically enable for all RentEngine listings, since it significantly increases conversion rates without affecting your pre-screening procedures.
