RMA Tenant Qualification Summary Pet Policy: RMA does allow pets on a case by case basis depending on the number and breed, as well as individual property owner's approval. Pet rent and pet deposit are a case-by-case situation. Qualification: RMA conducts a full and thorough screening of every prospective tenant. Our goal is to ensure stable, responsible tenancy while giving applicants a fair, balanced, and case-by-case review. Our evaluation process includes: • Comprehensive Background Check: We review credit history, criminal background, and prior rental history. • Income Requirement: Applicants must have at least three (3) times the monthly rent in net take-home pay. • Income Verification: Applicants must provide at least two recent paycheck stubs and, when available, a bank statement to substantiate income. • Credit Review: RMA does not require a specific minimum credit score. Instead, we evaluate each credit report individually, focusing on the nature of the items reported rather than the score alone. • Weighted Decision Approach: RMA makes approval decisions based on the strength of multiple factors, including: • Credit profile • Verified income • Length of employment • Strength and stability of employment • Rental history and prior landlord references RMA’s process is designed to be fair, consistent, and comprehensive while allowing for flexibility based on each applicant’s total circumstances.
