Product Updates: Week 11
The days of editing individual properties are over! This week we rolled out bulk editing, letting you update showing settings and portfolio settings across multiple units at once. We've also redesigned leasing reports to match your brand colors, improved voice AI escalation routing, and added several features to the showing availability audit.
Here's what's new in RentEngine.
Bulk Unit Updates
You can now edit multiple units at once, saving significant time when making changes across your portfolio.
What you can bulk edit:
Showing agents
Specials
Fees (monthly, move-in)
Pet policy and pet details
Application fee and custom application link
Subteam assignments
Showing type (self-guided, accompanied, company)
PM approval settings
Smart Scheduling settings
Prescreening template
Tenant agent commission (type and amount)
Utilities
Rental requirements
Leasing defaults
How it works:
Head to the Properties tab and click the dropdown arrow next to "Add New"
Select the units you want to edit (you can use filter options or search for specific properties)
Choose which fields you want to update
Review your changes and execute
The system processes all updates simultaneously, showing you confirmation as each unit completes. You can select as many units as needed, whether that's 5 properties or 500.
This is especially valuable for scattered-site operators managing properties across multiple markets, property managers who frequently adjust showing coverage based on agent availability, or anyone making recurring updates to portfolio-wide settings.
Where to find it: Properties > Dropdown next to "Add New" > Bulk Edit
Leasing Report Redesign
We've completely redesigned the leasing report PDF with a cleaner, more professional look that automatically matches your brand.
What's new:
Color Scheme
Reports now use your company's brand colors instead of generic blue. The system pulls your primary color from your account settings and creates a complementary color palette, giving each report a custom look that aligns with your brand identity.
Improved Spacing and Layout
Better spacing between sections makes data easier to scan at a glance. Key metrics stand out more clearly, and the overall design is less cluttered than the previous version.
The layout improvements help property owners quickly identify the information they care about most—days on market, lead volume, showing conversion—without digging through dense tables.
Logo Placement
Your company logo displays more prominently at the top of reports. This reinforces your brand when owners share reports with partners, investors, or other stakeholders.
Where to find it: Generate a report in the Leasing Reports tab to see the new design.

New Features in Availability Audit
We recently introduced the centralized Availability Audit, a single view to see why units aren't showing availability and fix issues in one click. This week we've made several improvements based on early feedback.
Quick refresher on Availability Audit:
The availability audit gives you a portfolio-wide view of showing availability. You can see which properties have no availability or low availability (fewer than 5 slots in the next week), click into any property to see its availability calendar, and click unavailable time slots to see exactly why they're blocked.
This eliminates the need to check agent calendars, blocked times, property settings, and showing windows across multiple screens when diagnosing availability problems.

New improvements:
Renamed "Unit" Column to "Address"
Makes it immediately clear what you're looking at in the property list.
Added Property Status Column
See at a glance whether properties are available, on hold, or in other statuses that affect availability.
Filter by Showing Type
Click the showing type column name to filter properties by self-guided or accompanied showings.
Improved Email Notifications
The no-availability email now shows one orange "Open Availability Audit" button at the bottom instead of individual links for each property.
Smarter Email Filtering
The availability alert email now excludes:
On Hold properties (you know these aren't available intentionally)
Properties where the earliest showing date is outside your Max Lead Time setting (these aren't ready for showings yet based on your timeline)
This reduces noise by only alerting you to properties that should be showing availability but aren't, not properties that are legitimately unavailable for operational reasons.
Where to find it: Settings > Showings > Availability Audit
Mobile App, RentEngine AI & Command Center Improvements
We've made several smaller improvements across the app, RentEngine AI, and the Command Center this week.
RentEngine AI Escalation Improvements
Voice AI now correctly registers prospects for the specific property they mention and escalates only to the relevant subteam assigned to that address.
If a prospect calls about 123 Main Street, only the agents covering that property get the escalation notification, not your entire team.
Self-Guided Showing Labels in Mobile App
Self-guided showings now display "(self-guided)" after the showing status in the mobile app's agenda view.
Command Center Popup Updates
The mini Command Center popup (the quick view that appears in tabs like the Showing Calendar) now includes two new features:
Leasing events: See showing confirmations, cancellations, and other leasing activity directly in the popup without opening the full Command Center.
AI on/off toggle: Turn RentEngine AI on or off for specific prospects directly from the popup if you have AI enabled account-wide.
These updates make the mini Command Center more functional for quick prospect checks without navigating away from your current task.
